Hero of Society: Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey once said, “It doesn’t matter how you came into world , what matters is that you’re here.” A social justice hero is someone who is kind & compassionate and is willing to treat people in society fairly. My social justice hero is Oprah Winfrey she lives in Chicago and she started her first talk show at the age of nineteen. Oprah Winfrey is worthy of a national holiday because, she is compassionate, generous, and determined.
Oprah Winfrey is compassionate. First, I know she compassionate because, she feels for those who are less fortunate. Second, another reason I know she compassionate is because, she shows heart, and puts effort in her work and has sympathy and compassion for those in need, Oprah Winfrey is compassionate because, she has sympathy for the less fortunate.
Oprah Winfrey is generous. For example she is generous because, she generously gives money to people. Second, she gives money and her interest in things that are undone, like homes, families, and children. Also gives homes to people that aren’t financially stable. Oprah is generous because, she always willing to give money.
Oprah Winfrey is determined. She is determined because, she want to impact the world differently. First, she is making a difference because, she shows her appreciation to people that let her help them. Second, she wants to give education to young children. Oprah Winfrey is a determined because, she is a persistent woman.
All in all, Oprah Winfrey is worthy of a national holiday because, she is compassionate, generous, and determined. Winfrey is worthy of a national holiday because, she treats others fairly and impacts the world in a positive way. And this why you should be determined to stay positive and care about you appearance and, maybe one day we’ll all be another Oprah Winfrey.
